Who we are
This website is operated by Glacier Point, a structural engineering firm serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metro. You can reach us at manaf@glacierpointse.com or (214) 385-5907.
The contact form
When you submit the contact form we collect what you type: your name, email address, phone number, project type, project location, your message, your preferred contact method, and, if you fill it in, how you heard about us. We also record the date and time, the page the form was sent from, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string. Those last three help us separate real inquiries from automated spam and let us investigate abuse.
We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if it becomes a project, to carry out the engagement. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with marketers.
Where your information goes
- It is stored in a database hosted by Railway (railway.com), the company that hosts this website.
- A copy is emailed to us, and a confirmation is emailed to you, through Resend (resend.com), an email delivery service.
- The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person. Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address for that purpose, under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept while the conversation or project is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back. If you would like an inquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it unless we are required to keep it as part of a project record.
Analytics
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count visits and see which pages are read. If analytics is enabled, it is configured not to use advertising cookies and not to build profiles across websites. This policy will be updated to name the service once it is in place.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies it needs to function, such as the one Cloudflare Turnstile uses to verify a form submission. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
- You can call or email instead of using the form.
- You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us.
- You can disable cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though the contact form's spam check may not.
Children
This site is intended for adults making decisions about buildings and property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
